I have always enjoyed photography but it is not until 2015 that I decided to plunge more deeply into what is now my passion.
I tend to prefer landscapes, night, nature, abstracts images.
Some of my images have been published by the National Geographic and some photography magazines. I currently work with online photo sites and a UK based news agency to share my work all over the world.
I have a presence on social media, but I am not very active on those as I believe they don’t bring much to my photograpy. Tiny screens, full of ads, fake images created by AI, etc they never sound like fun…
Feel free to contact me if you would like a quote for some prints, I can do paper, canvas, metal prints in a lot of sizes!
Thank you for your interest in my work. Feel free to share this page with your family and friends if you like it.
Cheers!
Gerald
While having dinner with my Japanese friends, I was offered by a very talented calligraphy artist Zenryu Syoronin to get a new business card with his interpretation of my Japanese name in Chinese characters.
I immediately fell in love with his design and asked if I could use it as the logo on my images. He agreed and since then I have been signing my new images with his wonderful writing of my name in Kanji.
Big thank you to you, Zenryu Syoronin of Ishigaki, Okinawa islands...
Again the same image was published but on paper this time as a double page in Practical Photography magazine, UK
What is 1x?
“Do you have what it takes to be published in one of the world's most exclusive art galleries? This is not your average photo site. All photos on 1x are selected by a team of professional gallery curators. Just like in a real photo gallery. Our curators have experience from well-known institutions such as Sotheby’s and Tate Modern Art.”
